I just exchanged my dslite yesterday and it is perfectly new, so this time I want to keep it that way, I got a silicone case, but I want to know which screen protector is the best?  I want it to last for a long time, and it has to protect...  I'm looking at the Hori right now, any other good ones?

I have heard good things about the Hori and Pelican ones, I use an Intec one I got at EB.

I recently got the Pelican protector for my 3rd DS Lite on the advice of some of the members of this board....  I was very disappointed.  The plastic itself is fine, but the adhesive that they use to attach it to the screen is incredibly cheap.  It causes slight swirls on the screen if you press to hard.  These swirls stay for a long time afterwards making the screen quite ugly.

I recommend the Hori one over the Pelican.

I am using this one right now

I cant even tell its on there right now.  but I dont know if over time it will leave sticky residue.  it seams realy nice and if it does leave residue you can just clean it off.
I have a problem how do you get your screen protector off your bottom screen?  I tried on my DS phat and I cant do it.  the thouch screen goes down around the edges so how do you do it?  the only way I could do it is open my DS and take it off

PharaohsVizier

Yea... I was gonna ask that too, how do you take a screen protector off?  I'm looking for one that I can take off in the future.  So far the Hori ones look pretty good...

Taking a screen protector off can be tricky if its been on a verry long time.
I ususally get some strong sticky tape and lift it off using that.
Scotch tape is great for removing dust from the screen before putting a screen protector on too!

I just got my Hori screen protectors.  Accidentally put the bottom one on the top, not knowing they were two different sizes... then chaos insued and even after much scotch tape cleaning there's a bit of debris still stuck to it.

When I did apply the REAL top one, it went on quick and easy though.  I can't even tell it's there.

Sadly, the bottom screen one is about a half a millimetre short width-wise... maybe a bit more.  So you've gotta put it right in the middle and hopefully then it looks at least balanced.  Meh.  Too bad about that.

I got my Hori screen protectors, got a replacement for my ds lite, everything is brand new.  Just gonna flash it, then put on screenies... :)

EDIT
Woohoohooo Done flashing, the screen protectors are on everything looks awesome.  I got my DS Lite replaced 2 times, I got by 4 DS Lites thanks to Best Buy and Toys R Us, I flashme'd 3 DS lites :)

hori screen protectors are the best screen protectors ive seen in my life. they dont leave a single air bubble becauset they automatically come off withing time. they dont get scratch that much and you cant even tell they are there.

P.S. i also put them in the wrong place at first.

I agree.  HORI is the way to go.  Pelican are pretty bad actually (but there are a couple versions of pelican protectors.  apparently some aren't that bad).

I recently sold my navy ds lite and got a white one, and I could only find a leftover top screen protector (HORI) because I had previously changed my navy DSLite's bottom protector.  So I trimmed it down and am now using it on the bottom screen.  I don't have a protector on the top.  I figure there is very little chance that the top screen will get scratched, being a clamshell design and all.

PharaohsVizier

Which one is bottom and which one is top?  is the one with the big sheet underneath the bottom one?  Cuz thats the one I put

if there in place then they are in the right place. if they were in the wrong place than one wouldn fit and one wouldent cover the hole screen.

A LONG time ago i got some pelicans and thenafter putting them on for a while, when i went to take them off, they left a sticky residue on both my top and bottom screens which i eventualy got off by using some cloths to clean it.
