Things I'd love the SC to do...

Hey all... this has prob been done or might not be in the right area, but figured we could all get together and share some ideas of future SC udates possibilities...

I have a few so here r mine:

1. Moonshell intergration into SC kernel... no idea how this would work, but would rock...
2. Icon view option... option of list mode or thumbnail mode
3. Automatic alphabetize... this will allow us to not worry about usin FATSORT or somethin like that... this option can be turned on or off...
4. touchscreen ability... take advantage of the touchscreen somhow...
5. ability to change font size so we can see longer filenames...
or
6. font name scrollin option...
7. Battery meter... wifi signal strength... time/date... little things like that...

I have more, but just can't remember them... These aren't gripes by any means, because i love my SC better than any of the others ive used, but addin these things would completly be of tremendous help...

The only things it's missing IMHO, would be a proper file sorting and a simple FTP server (so the reader wouldn't be needed).

No, all we need is a DS Organize that can load the .dsi and .dsq NDS Supercard Roms and it needs to be automatically booted on startup.

if ds organizer were able to load .dsi, .dsq and gba games then maybe we could have a touch screen for games an a icon. the pictures could be loaded into a folder of the ds organizer somehow.

SC hostin the MOONSHELL RESET is a good step... little more intergration and the things listed above would be awesome...

For me, I just want touch screen support, and icons when I put in DS Games....

The M3 already has some of these things (auto sort/alphabetize, Moonshell in the kernel) so, they are possible. Hope the SC sees these things someday.

I would like it to use the entire top screen when i'm in the menu.

your own images for the top screen and bottom screen on startup of the SC

Also a sound when you start up the SC that you could put in like a Short Wav or something

love to see a new Kernel/Patchin software come out...

anyone know as to when this will happen??? I've heard first of October, but not for sure as to where I heard that from...

or should they do this on a new supercard ?
