pelican screen pprotectors suck. period. why? they leave your acreen f'ed up after you taken off and they distort the the image and color of the ds screen. also they get scratch up easily.

Well after about an hour of using the Hori, I think it is great.  It is like a second screen, I didn't even remember I had a screen protector on until I looked at the Hori packages.  These screen protectors are infinately better than the ones I got at the dollar store.  The ones at dollar store get scratched even if u just swipe it once with the stylus...

Funny no one mentioned Brando Ultra Clear.

I've had mine for almost a year, you never notice them, and they take a while to get really scratched (8 months for me, with intensive use by kids). You can also remove them, wash them, and put them back since they don't use adhesive.

The pelican brand are on my daughters ds now. They were given to me when I bought the ds used from a guy at work. They have been on for 2 weeks. Should I take them off now or should I let them run there lifespan? which is better for the ds screens?

I have hori and they are a bit expensive but they are the best. The screen feels just "normal" and not stuck or rubbery. It does a great job on protection too stopping every scratch and comes off just as easily! EB and Gamestop sell them for $7.99 but its a great investment. They come with top screen glare remover but I donn't bother using that sp.
