it only works for me when i run it through Moonshell itself

i just bought a supercard ds one, its the new 1 that goes in the ds slot. i installed the 1st version of dsdoom to my root directory, i put in doom and i renamed it doom.wad and it says it cant be found, i changed the name around too to doom1, DOOM, etc. but it still wont work. i found the newer version of dsdoom and tried with that and when i pick standard game my ds just crashes.... does any1 know what i have to do?? please help me out i really want to play doom on my ds

edit: i also dont know how to patch files or anything either so if i need to do that could some1 tell me what to do?

It has to be on Root of the SD ?

yes prboom.wad and doom.wad need to be on the root of the drive
