Hey guys. I have a DS Lite and I want to watch videos (avi, mpeg, whatever) and listen to mp3s on it. Is there any way to do this?

I read about the supercard but I really need some background info. Can I buy one of these and a miniSD card, put files on the miniSD card, and listen to/watch them on my DS? Or is it not that simple?

Also, any web browsers yet?

Thanks guys

Well there is a text based web browser, and it isn't really that good.  I think the opera web browser is still being worked on, so if you need it to view pictures and all that, there isn't a web browser...

You can watch videos if you convert them first into dpg.  It takes about 15 minutes to convert and 30 minute video, depending on quality and stuff like that.  Then you load it into your mini sd, and along with something called moonshell, you can view videos.  As for music, I'm not sure, never tried yet.

Hope this helps.

RETAWQ is good!
Lynx would be better, but retawq works very well, you just haven't gotton it to work properly if you think its not that good.
As for watching movies and etc. depends on what hardware you buy.
Generally you use Moonshell.

Listening to MP3s is easy.
All you do is get moonsehll and after you drag the MP3s on the sd card
Then boot moonshell then pick your mp3s, no conversion for them at all is needed

Okay, so let's say I get a supercard for mini sd. The I get the actual sd mini disk. And, obviously, I also have the DS Lite. What other hardware would I need? Do I need some other device?

You would need a passcard (supercard, superkey, passme), and they all have to be the second version or third version if you have a ds lite.  Also you need the supercard, and something to read and write onto the sd card.
