Hey guys Im at work so I cant test these right now but im interesting in hearing from some people who have tried both. At home I have A computer connected to my Big screen tv and it sucks to get up everytime and change videos with the mouse! so, which of these programs is the best?

cobraxt

I couldn't get PointyRemote to work. WinDS is pretty cool but the refresh rate is extremely slow for me.

Do these use actual VNC remote administration or are they using their own custom thing?

I have a linux server I use to run a shoutcast radio station and it would be INCREDIBLE for me to remotely connect to it like I do with my PC.

Do these programs support wep encoding? I couldn't get either one properly connected.

To connect to shoutcast you want DSOrganize

Sorry, you misunderstood.
The fact that it's a shoutcast server is besides the point.

I run a separate linux machine that I use VNC Remote Access [like what these homebrews do] to administer, it'd be great to be able to it via the DS.

I'm just not sure if the projects are using a custom connection or an actual real VNC connection.

Sorry.
They are not a standard vnc app.
Specifically written for there own server client which afaik only run on Windows.
