I've just started using the software to convert video files & need help on converting anime in .rm & rmvb into .dpg format for viewing in moonshell.

I have both DPGenc & BatchDPG. Both report errors when I try to convert: eg. In DPGenc: "can not detect total play time" (probably saying it cant open the file) & in BatchDPG: "conversion error, check that the file is playable in WMP".

Is it that these apps don't support conversion from realmedia formats
or is this a missing codec problem?

I was leaning towards it being a codec prob.........maybe I should install ace mega codecs pack to see if this fixes the prob?

Any one come across these errors before & have fixed it since?
