how to convert M4V files to dpg?

pLEASE anyone does know how to convert M4V files (ipod) used generally as enclosure in podcasting feeds, to DPG???
i know  they are mp4 files ...

i'm tyring two softwares

vlc media players and mplayer

edit 2:::

VLC MEDIA PLAYER 0.8.5 does play the files well but not convert them (even if it has this function it is not good working)

you need to download a codec that reads them.  aka if you can get the plugins to make it working on windows media player, then you can convert them using batchdpg.

I  solved... sorry i ought  to use SUPER before...


rename them to .mp4 then use SUPER (e-right soft), WORKS GREAT.

I did a quick search and found the link to dl it.  http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html

not sure if it can convert to dpg yet.  lemme find out and update this post

Alrighty, I think he means that he used super to transfer mp4 (ipod format) into something else like avi, then turned the new file into dpg.  I can't seem to find dpg...

yes you figured it out perfectly, it is how i done.

and sorry for noth posting super link immediately.

however i didn't test to convert them directly from mp4 (renamed) to dpg since i' m using win me and i haven't passed the prgrs on my laptop with xp-

it could be nice to rename then and convert them directly to dpg.

Well you can with Batch DPG and all the right codecs...
