Hi, I'm thinking of buying another SD card, was wondering what people think is a good reliable card with regard to playing games. I experience slowdowns with my current card and various games (like Osu!) regularly hang on me, which is really annoying on the last stage which I can't finish!

I have corsair and toshiba high speed and i'd have to say i like corsair the most, but both work fine.

I have been using Kodak (Lexar) SD cards, and they are great. I haven't really experienced any slowdown with all of the games I have tested except for maybe a very *slight* slowdown in one of the Super Mario Advance titles, and even there it was still very playable. Very reliable cards.

i use lexar and pqi 133x SD cards... they work fine. no issues other than compatibility issues we all face.

by the way, zektor,  slowdown on super mario advance (and any other GBA game, for that matter) has nothing to do with your SD card (or CF).  The only time a GBA game uses your SD card is during boot up (and for a few seconds when you do a real time save, etc..).  The game itself is running from the supercard's SDRAM chip.

I pretty much had the idea that this was how it was working. But, still, I hear reports of certain games slowing down that I personally do not experience. Perhaps it is because I do not enable any other options except for the return to menu and save options. Either way, the Supercard SD is still the best IMHO :)

for GBA games, nearly all brands will be about the same.

For NDS games, I use a sandisk and it works perfectly. Haven't found a game yet that works on the compatibility list, but not work on it.

Thanks for the advice. I will go for one of these. I was just worried there might be known brands to avoid.
