I got my SC about two weeks ago and was playing 10 GBA games and a whole bunch of DS homebrew, and all of it was working. But now When i load up one of my GBA roms, it Say in some way or another "Save file is currupted". WTF? These games were working before, why aren't they now. I've reformated Three times now to file system "FAT". At first when this problem was there my file system said "FAT32". When i formatted then my brother told me to make it FAT instead of FAT32. I did but still can't save on GBA games. Here are things i am already doing (so please don't ask "Are you holding l+r+start+a?" or something like that. thanks  :) ) :

I can't use Real time save ethier
I am running the games through the supercard software
Im using CF(compact flash) on my SCCF :)
I have 1.63 FW
Im using 2.55c software

: So please help this really is driving me nuts!

Well it does it on every GBA game i try but here's a couple of them that it does it on:

Super Mario Advance
Harvest Moon: Freinds of Mineral Town(Doesn't say "Save file is currupt", instead just say "Save Failed" when i try to save in game.)
Tetris Worlds
Snood
Snood 2
Golden Sun
Golden Sun: Lost chapters
Super Mario Advance 2
Yoshies Island...

Ect.

Pretty much every game i've tried.

What are the options you are using to patch your gba games? You can find out by double clicking on the game in the supercard software.
Also are you enabling cheats? maybe these are corupting your saves. Try disabling them and see what happens.  Also try using the gba games without any ds homebrew. (Back up your homebrew first) And one more thing. you say that you are using 1.63 Firmware. Did you update this yourself or was it already updated when you bought it. If you did it yorself, which version did you go from?( Example did you update from 1.62 to 1.63 or was it from something like 1.52 to 1.63?) If you updated from anything except 1.62 or 1.61 you might need to reflash from one of these two then to 1.63

nope, tried all that! now i have the new 1.7 fw. and it stil does this.

no...um, ok i've had this problem for way to long and am ready just to buy whatever is broken. What should i get? a new cf card or SC? IDK which one is fucked up??? I figure since it has something to do with the sdram, that it had to be inside the SC.

I know this works on the Supercard SD. If it doesn't work on the CF, never mind. :)

Try turning the DS on while holding L and R at the same time. This should put the Supercard into test mode. Click through the various tests and they should all say OK. If it gives you an error it is probably a problem with your cart. If it does not it is probably NOT a cart issue. Let us know what it tells you.

Have you run your card through CHKDSK?  Right-click the card in My Computer and hit Properties.  Go to the Tools tab and press Check Now.  Check the first checkbox which will have it look for filesystem errors and hit OK/Start/whatever.  It shouldn't take too long.  Once it's done, if files are missing, copy new ones over.
