First off I searched the forum and there were a quite a lot subjects regarding this. (using the keyword: "saving")

The best topic I found on this matter was this one:

The steps described in a reply where quite clear, but still it leaves with some questions.

Converting the games through the SuperCard software:
- The "saver patch" to "SD card" (in properties) should be marked in the correct format.
==>But isn't this already done in default mode (for the DS games at least).

Saving process GBA games (steps)
I always follow the follow these steps:

1) startup the DS and in the main SuperCard menu go to "saver", and then select the game which you want to save to SD (by pressing "A" and select "Yes").
2) Start the Game then do a real time save (L+R+select +B)
3) Do a normal save throuh L+R+select+A
4)Go to a save point and save (if possible do it in the game menu)

==>But do I have to go through al these four steps  every time I want to save? (or do I have to do step 1 and 2 only once?)

SuperCard Main menu "options"
==>What does "auto load saver" mean in the SuperCard "Options" menu (when starting the DS)?

No, with older versions of the supercard patcher software the default saver patch was set to "DS Card".  The saver patcher should be set to "SD Card" for DS games.

This is all you need to do . . .
2) Start the Game then do a real time save (L+R+select +B)
Next time you start the game it should automatilcy load the last RTS.

It means the Supercard will automatically load the last GBA save.
