Is it normal for the SC to sometimes not boot up?

I just got my SCL yesterday and when I first put it in (with the micro sd containing the firmware upgrade), I was greeted with a white bottom screen while the top screen had the Super Key logo.

I panicked. Tried a bunch of other times, still the same deal.

SO I removed the SCL and tried to power it on again. Same deal.

After what seemed like forever, I saw a glimmer of hope when it asked me if I wanted to upgrade the firmware (but unfortunately I also had to font file in there so it said something about it being an unrecognized upgrade file). I removed the font file and put the micro sd back in. Bottom white screen again. Took it out and put it back in....

AND FINALLY it went smoothly.

Now, after all that, it boots up fine. However, I'm wondering if this is a problem with my SCL or if people ocassionally have boot up probs (I'm new to the whole DS thing). It's working perfectly now, which is awesome for me but I don't know if it will work fine in the long run (ie. after the warranty is over).

Is this a prob that I should return the SCL back to the seller (RHS)? Since it took 2 weeks to get here, and the warranty is 30 days, I suppose I don't have much time for it to mess up again.

I think you have a connection problem because it always boots for everybody to the superkey splash screen which is white bottom and top with the superkey logo on top.  Try wiggling the supercard in the slot a little bit in or out more.

Meh,
I've found my superCard Lite to be a lot more flaky than previous superCards.
Sometimes its not recognised and goes to the DS UI.
Sometimes I get white screens.
And sometimes when the game loads it gets to loads the game to say 100/100 and then carries on to like 150/150 and then white screens.
But its no biggie, a reset has always worked.

It happened once to me, and I'm not sure of the reason either. It just started working again after a few tries.
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.
