The 3D engine demo is out

Dovot gave me some space to hold and here we go...
First demo of the engine is out and will be upgraded often.
Please test it and give feedback...thanx

You will have to download ds.gba and rename to .nds
The sounds are made by DimensionT...the crappy noises which suddenly apear are not his fault...i will code a ogg player when i hv time.

Wow man, I'm amazed. This is like the best homebrew engine ever. The graphics rival commercial games. Plus its running at 60 FPS, smooth. I like the touches like reflection mapping on the water and floors. That animated cape is cool too. The loading times when exiting rooms and buildings were reasonable and didn't break up the action. That crappy noise was a little annoying though. I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing what this engine has in store.

Wow...a feedback how i like it :)
You was amzaed by the Light? Really? Heheh wait... i will update...
I just added dynamic lights...yeah we know things like that just from 2 handhelds : GP32X and PSP...
But it was possible on NDS too...it did cost me the hole day...
check it out...its right in the first room!
Would be nice for Fireflys i think...i could add up to 10 (or more i think) per level.

I like the kind that everything is so detailed. It feels like every Tree lives, every mililiter water exist and everyone has his own story. I hope you include some 2D Flowers.

DS has how many hw lights? 4...and the room? 5... thats the first reason.(i can add more)
Second is the hardware lights just have a direction and no position. That means fireflys arent posible with that. or a fireplace which iluminates parts of the map. Those dirrectional lights really sucks. Thats why i added dotlights. Which i ,for my opinion, prefer...

Graphics are pretty good but there is a constant static sound which is quite annoying. Other than that I'm thoroughly impressed.

Yeah the problem is that one who makes the music doesnt have many freedome...i told him the length for it...because of filesize...but i will code a ogg-player then he can make what ever he wants. I am sure that u will then like it....Thanx for comment ;)

Nice comments...but u can also say what u dont like. Would be helpfull, too.
I see many things which i dont like...for example that houses...they need an update..or that u cant change weapon during ur in the "battle"

Sweet, another update!  The trees look alot better now, and the new models (e.g the well) are awesome!  Lights are looking alot better as well.

Do you have any idea what's causing the popping noise in town?  I think it might be loosing some low-end during the conversion to binary.

I could cut out some of the bass and send it again, that might fix the problem.
