Apologies if this has been asked before. But I was wondering if the battery inside the Supercard were to die. Would I lose all my saves(I'm figuring I would lose my gba saves at least. )  Would it be easy to replace or will i need to but another Supercard If it were to die in the near future?

The only SuperCard to have a battery is the miniSD version and no you wouldn't lose your saves as they are stored on the miniSD. Also the battery charges as you play your DS.

The battery only temporarily stores saves. If it were to die, you would not have to worry. Remember, the SD and CF versions have NO battery, and we can still save. The saves are transferred onto the memory card....with NDS immediately (which is AWESOME btw)

The only issue I would think you would have is running games that use the RTC (real time clock) like those Pokemon roms I never touched....and *maybe* the worry that some battery acid would leak out onto your SC mainboard in 15 years if you didn't remove it! :)

All SuperCard's, even the miniSD version that has the battery, have no RTC feature so thats not anything big.

As its been discussed, flash drives/cards [as well as mem cards for the PS and such] don't use an internal battery. You'll see batteries in old NES/SNES/GBA etc carts though.

That's not to state flash cards last forever, of course.
