Hi everyone, I'm new :)

I have a chinese SUPERCARDlite (the one discussed in this thread, and I was wondering if any of you guys knew of a way to change the menu's language to English.

I tried updating it with the 1.63 firmware from the SC site (came with 1.63 already), but when I confirm the operation I get a message in Chinese, which I can only assume is an error of some sort (wrong version or something).

Think I can have any luck with that? Thanks!

You can't do it :( Also, you can't use the english firmware on the chinese SCL

Sorry to bump (and double post), but if I understand correctly, when a new firmware update is release I have to navigate through the Chinese version of the site and upgrade from the Chinese file?

I suppose there's zero chance for the SC team to do something about this? It's probably on purpose, right?

right again.
they have thier own localized versions of everything. probably to cut back on the things it has to store in the firmware... and to have people not load a language onto thier sc that they do not know by accident or whatnot.

chinese version is cheaper so thats why you cant flash it with english version.

same story for g6lite and m3 lite :(
