If the folks at Supercard HQ have any say at all, I'd like to be able to use homebrew without having to flash it just to use a slot 1 solution *cough* DSLink *cough*.  That TetAt DS sounds really cool.

Yea, Slot 2 is better since it has GBA support and backward compatibility is what make the DS great.

You could most likely get emulators to work off a slot 1 card.

I think the real benifit of them making a Slot 1 would be the fact that you can have both versions. Lets say you have a supercard lite now with a 2g micro card in it, you could buy a supercard slot 1 with its own 2g card and double your space.

And they'd be cheaper than normal supercards because you'd save money on passme devices. The only draw back is of course lossing backward compatibility, but one could still use old supercards for that.

The backwards compatibility isn't much of a feature anyway.  I can get Fire Emblem 1 but not 2, Advance Wars 1 but not 2, etc etc, to run.

Barring something like me going crazy and buying a Black DS just to be fashionable, I think the SCL is the last flashcart I'll be buying.  It runs DS stuff very well, and GBA games are often pretty sucky in comparison.

me think 1slot supercard good  but not good cause gba game work no more but good cause fast and small but i dont think it will be good cause gba will still not work i think it good for if you flash not your ds of nintendo and manofrom has many of a supercard to supporting so it is ungood newspeak

I think that they should just make the SClite completely flush and glossy, then make a slot1 so there are two good solutions depending on GBA or not

I would rather have a slot 1 since for supercard the gba is really just a bonus to the other great compatibility.  That way i could have the browser or a rumblepack in there.  But thats just me.

Romman is working on an NDS only solution - so by that I have to assume it is slot 1. I spoke to Romman a short while ago about a few things and he mentioned that this was upcoming - no eta as of yet but details should be released soon.
