I'm trying to connect to an access point at school, but when I try to connect with nintendo wfc, it fails while if I try and connect with ds2key, it works fine. Anyway to somehow find the settings ds2key is using and transfer it over. Is there a better homebrew app that can do that?

thanks

you cannot do that. its just doesnt work. try using this config on your wfc
ip 192.168.0.20
netmask 255.255.255
dns 192.168.0.1
secondary dns 192.168.0.1
gateway 192.168.0.1
if that dont work just replace all of the 0's with 1's(192.168.0.1 to 192.168.1.1) subnet usualy stays the same

Is the school network unsecured and do you have permission to use it?  Just because it pops up in ds2key doesn't mean you can connect to it.  AFAIK all ds2key does is search for wifi hotspots.

yeah the network is unsecured. I tried all those settings you told me and I still couldnt get it to work. And ds2key has an option to connect to an access point and I knew it was working because theres also an option to ping google in ds2key.

IF it is on a school Im very surprised that it actually is unsecured

Even if there an option to ping, doesn't mean it is connected.  That option is always there.  If you can actually ping it with results then you are connected.  Also, what do you mean by fail in wfc?  Can you find the access point?  What colour is the lock when you find it?

i go to university, so there are access points everywhere. there all unlocked. and yes it is green in wfc. and when i try the settings it just keeps trying to connect for like 10 minutes and i have to power off.
