Moonshell patcher?

I've seen several threads around here where people casually refer to a Moonshell patcher in order to fix saving in several homebrew applications, like dsdoom or dsorganize. I have a file called "Patch Moonshell for Supercard Lite" that I can run on the main .nds file for Moonshell, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

At the moment I can't save in any of the homebrew I run, which is a bit frustrating. Is there some other patcher or a secret trick I'm missing here? I shouldn't have to run homebrew through the normal supercard patcher, should I? (not that it allows me to patch stuff like dshexen anyway)

I've done some serious searching to solve this problem on my own, but I just couldn't find an answer, so either I'm blind, stupid, or it's just not there. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

To be a bit more specific, I get a "Not find SC code" error message when trying to patch any homebrew .nds files.

Try this version:

Also, you should only be patching homebrew with the patcher not games. Do not run homebrew though the regular SuperCard patcher either.

Thanks!

I'm at work right now and don't really have time to test this application, but I did run a quick test with dsheretic, which still didn't keep saves after having turned off the DS Lite for a minute. Is there something else I should do, or is dsheretic borked?
