To Flash ot not to Flash

It's annoying enough that my supercard sticks out on the bottom of my DS lite, but to have the passkey to stick out of the DS slot, it's really horrible and takes the portability-and-in-your-pocket design of the DS.

Flashing eliminated that.

I'm no tech savvy, but I've successfully done this to my phat DS, and my DS lite with little trouble.

I recommend it if you're ballsy enough!

well, if you have a newer generation passkey, like a max media launcher or superkey it just looks like a normal game, doesnt look bad at all, but I recommend flashing, its just plain easier, things just work, i dont need to worry about what is in my DS slot, just load my games and go. I have flashed 8 DS lites for friends and family now, and never had a problem, just dont use tinfoil methods, the people who jam tinfoil into the little hole are the ones who have been bricking their DSs. just use a small flathead screwdriver (like eyeglass screwdrivers.) This method works great and I have never heard of anyone bricking their DS using this method. I just flashed my buddies here at work today. Flash away.

I don't get it, whats the point of flashing random people (ur family, coworker)'s systems  unless they have a flashcart O.o

Who says that they don't have flashcarts?  8)

I see~ they all have flashcarts but no superkey?~ and its all DSL? I guess I won't do it for others yet cause I am still worried that I mite break it and have to buy a new one, and none of my friends have a DSlite, and those that does dont' have a flashcart, paying online for 80 dollars is a scary thing for them XD
