On any card (2 microSDs and 2 Memory stick PD) there's a common problem.  Whenever I delete a file it will dissapear yet according to my comp and PSP there is still the same ammount of room on that card.  So whenever the disk is too full and I want to put something else on them, I have to completely format it...
Any help at all is appreciated.

edit-Also, whenever I delete something off of it, it sends it to the recycle bin, which is really confusing.

Sounds like there's a recycle bin on the card itself.  No clue why it does this, but if it isn't visible, try going into Tools - Folder Options - View tab - check "show hidden files and folders" and uncheck "hide protected operating system files"

Hopefully that should let you view the recycle bin folder on the card.  This doesn't happen on my card so I can't confirm if this will help or not.

If that doesn't work, then you'll just need to remember to hold the Shift key as you press the Delete key to bypass the recycle bin entirely and delete the file permanently.

do you use NORTAN on your computer ??

any variant of NORTAN and a few other ALL in one TOOLS have a protected RECYCLE BIN try delete stuff then EMPTY the protected RECYCLE BIN :)

see if that helps :)

Kkan I tried that last night and it worked!  It's inconsistent though and sometimes I have to add the same file over and over again then delete it over and over to get the memory cleared up...

Now to experiment with the shift delete approach.
