I can't update the firmware, or add cheats. i use the supercard 2.66 for SD version patcher (which is the only one that works). I bought this more than a year ago here in manila...back then i didn't even know there were fakes. i hope the link i provided works and someone would be kind enough to help me out.




BTW, the black screen with the supercard logo is always at the bottom.

I just want to update the firmware and incorporate cheats...did everything but still no luck. im hopeing someone could help me out. thanks in advance.

i was told in the other forums that the menus of my supercard looks like that of the psp but with a supercard ds logo at the bottom of the screen as you can see at the pic i attached.


i did the cheat thing too...only loaded white screens


so am i screwed now?

its not fake your firmware has just been skinned that skin is from a thread in this forum if i remember correctly & made by a member called boldbull

At first I too thought it was as simple as that, but on GBAtemp he said that the microSD slot is on the side of the device, not the top like it should be, which is very suspicious.  It is indeed firmware 1.63 as I had him do the self-test, so more than likely it is a custom skin, but he seems to be unable to run any firmware updates no matter what version they are.  I'm guessing a hardware clone that still supports the firmware to a certain degree, though I don't have too much to back up that guess.

You've tried all the various 1.7 firmware updates you could find, right?

yes i have. i intend to call up the shop where i got this from, *MAYBE* they could help...but if not, i think im going to get a legit supercard DS one...or that DSTT. whichever one is cheaper and better (though the unorganizable roms on the DSTT is a huge turn off...)

The DSTT has an alternate menu available called Y's Menu that organizes the games for you.  However, keep in mind that the Supercard DS can run both the DSTT menu and Y's menu anyway, so it might be better to get that.

You got a fake, I made a post about it in other nintendo flash carts a long time ago, but can't find it.  Hopefully It's still on DX becasue I'm looking for it.

The hole in the front of the cart gives it away.  Also the fact that the original sticker was ripped off (unless you did that lol)
