Hello

Im running a supercard SD and have been for about 2 years,

I recently upgraded to v1.85 and it worked fine for about 2 days.

Now when I turn it on, I card the supercard logo on the bottom screen and just white at the top screen.

Ive tried formatting the card, placing an upgrade on it and blindly pressin a but no success.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks.

Try to use SC in gba mode (hold select when powering DS and u will see standard ds menu). You should be able to update soft in gba mode if u will see anything.

thanks. tried this, the supercard menu does appear for a split second in gba mode but not long enough for me to see or do anything..

I dont have any other ideas... if you have any other SD cards try them but I dont think that it's the problem.

Edit : You can try holding L+R while turning you DS, this should start some SC tests, or maybe your top screen is broken lol.
You can also try asking on official SC forums http://forum.supercard.cn/

QuoteIm running a supercard SD and have been for about 2 years,
try the self test (L&R) then press A to cycle through the tests if you get an error on any of the tests its probably dead
but 2 years out of a flash cart is good maybe its time to upgrade to a slot1 cart??

Make sure no buttons or touch screen is stuck. It can stop supercards booting.

you could also check the contacts very very carefully that they are free from dirt or grease :)

and sometimes blowing any dirt outta the slot in the ds or card can cure some card issues :)

If it's any consolation i had this issue when i first upgraded the firmware to v1.80 and i found i skipped a update in between and thats why it did that, so my advice which worked for me is find the earliest update apply that and go in order the updates came out.

I'm having a similar issue with my DS.  After looking through the supercard forums I came to the conclusion that it was probably because of a firmware corruption.  I'm not sure but I think someone was offering on these forums to fix firmware problems for free (+shipping/handling)
