HERES how to :-

guide:

How to hack guitar hero for play with ABXY

1- Download the ARM9 file here : http://www.sendspace.com/file/yhf5ah
2- Download Dslazy: http://l33t.spod.org/ratx/DS/dslazy/dslazy.zip
3- Open dslazy and select your clean rom
4- Select NDS unpack, you will se a folder with the unpacked rom
5- Replace the original arm9.bin file with the new one
6- Select NDS repack and play !!!!!

buttons

Button list

X)= red
B)=Yellow
A)= blue
Y)=green

Fiddly at first to get used to using the buttons but best way is resting it on a table or your lap and using your left hand /finger and thumb of yer left hand to press the keys ..takes practice but can be done

Hm, really REALLY wish I could change the Red and Green buttons around (and I can't adjust to the D-PAD arrangement either), but otherwise not a back hack at all. Hm, looks like the game just froze entirely on me. Ah well, I'm not complaining.

yeah according to gbatemp they are also hoping someone can remap the keys to a more logical order if thats possible

DPAD does not work well at all

......mainly for the reason of 2 BUTTONS at once on a directional pad dont work doh!!!

my stepson has mastered this maby due to slightly smaller more nimble fingers than me lol he has been playing it on medium just about from the start .. then again he does play GH 1,2,3,Aerosmith + hacked editions on PS2 on HARD/EXPERT mode and creams anyone that plays him lol ...oh btw hes 13!!!!

it sounds really counter intuitive, im still tempted on buying this game!

the setlist is very small at 25 songs, but with the actual attatchment, i bet there will be hacks that work with it

apparently the music tracks are seperate to the voice tracks too so not sure how they are gunna work that for hacked tracks ??

Does this work on slot 1 and slot 2? I've not done this before. I would still like to buy the game though this would be nice to try the game.

would assume it works on slot 2 but cant confirm dont use slot 2 anymore but works well on DSTT and R4

Works for me with Supercard miniSD non-Rumble, using firmware 1.84 and patcher 2.65. I've had it freeze a couple times on me though, but I'm not really motivated enough to figure out why this is.

It's pretty sweet and I'd consider either getting it or GH World Tour for the Wii having now had a chance to play with it - wii one is more tempting for downloadable content and hopefully more songs - mind you I bet DS one is hacked to bits and the add on used in homebrew - decisions, decisions

Works on Supercard SD slot 2. Nice game... but does need the GBA attachment, IMO.

Froze once for me but it hasn't happened again.

Played the hack for about 1 minute before I came to the conclusion that this just cannot be played this way...at least by me. Yep, that attachment is a requirement in my book.

EDIT: Purchased the hardware today (actually, the whole limited edition DS bundle)....MUCH better

I wonder how long it will be before homebrewers find new ways of utilizing the guitar grip....maybe SIMON
