Now that Viva Pinata is coming to the DS, what do people think of a deal being done on the new Banjo K game for the 360?

Surely Microsoft/Rare is potentially missing out on a huge opportunity with the number of Wiis out there (admittedly, with the hand helds they don't have any competeing device).

Wont ever happen. I can see them letting hand held games come to the DS because those games aren't taking money out of M$ pocket or going against a M$ hand held, but they wont share consoles. Look at the PS2 it sold more then any other console and killed the GC, but we didn't see Nintendo releasing Mario on the PS2 just to push software units.

if they did that they would lose potential sales, think about it, if someone is a big enough banjo k fan they will buy a 360 just for that game, and before anyone says oh i wouldnt buy a console just for one game, people have done it before (ie for halo alot of people bought an xbox) so it wouldnt be surprising

Probably right, but it's possible that they may do it in a few years time once the sales of the game on the Xbox have cooled. After all, there is a PC version of VP (though I suppose that MS contols that market too....).

Pity though as I had a lot of fun on the N64 with BK1 and 2 (suppose we should dust the N64 down if it's not going to be on the VC).
