Hi,

I've got an original SCDSONE, not the SDHC one and wanted to know if there is any problem with me formatting the memory card to Fat32 - it's a 1GB card.

Main reason is I can then connect it to My xbox and using UnleashX write to a fat32 partition  :cool2:

I can't remember if there are any compatability issues on the old cards with Fat32

No compatibility issues, it should work perfectly fine. At least I don't see why it wouldn't.

Thanks, I seem to recall reading some issues when it first came out

There is a micro-firmware update for the non-sdhc scds-1, which fixes a few fat32 errors afair.

Try running a self-diagnosis routine by holding L+R at bootup and check the micro-firmware version.

Gonna go a little off topic, but can you softmod with a microSD?

Because I can't find any comptaible USB sticks =/

I know i applied that one, so should be ok.

Very off topic, but when you say compatible you can use anything the xbox will see as a memory card - usb key, or card reader with card but xbox can only read it's own fat x format, so to do the initial soft mod you format it on the xbox and read it on the pc by modifying the action replay drivers or easier still get someone else with a modded x box to transfer the file to your fat x key or memory card.

Pm me if you want some more info, so long as you read up plenty soft modding is  quite simple :-)
