bumpy :(

Anyone know where I could go for help with bliss's tool?

It comes with a readme, open it in wordpad it's pretty self explanatory.

saf1

I tried following the readme file, but I'm still having the error. Actually, if someone could walk me through it real quick in like 2-3 steps I'd appreciate it, just to be sure I'm not getting confused with its "engrish".

Yes, the SuperCard auto patches with DLDI however when you load it from blissy's tool it won't (as its coded into SuperCard's loader) so you will need to patch it manually. Hense why it error's when you load it from blissy's tool but not from the SuperCard

Hope that makes sense

Thanks, but I DLDI patched moonshell with the DLDI right click program, and it still didn't work. Unless I was supposed to do the Multirc DLDI patch from the right click menu, but I doubt that.

Or was I supposed to patch something else?

jmr

dude its not hard dldi patch your .nds file & then rename it to ysmenu.nds, SC-DSONE.NDS, SCDSONE.NDS or TTMENU.DAT depending on what your booting

i aske bliss a little while ago if he would map the A & B buttons as well so we could boot more things he said he would look into it

ive made a video to show you it working with ysmenu, DSOrganize & moonshell

So what files do I need to DLDI patch, since that's where I'm getting lost. I can patch them, I just don't know which ones to patch.

splinter98

Its the Moonshell NDS file (thats renamed to ysmenu.nds)

Right - I've asked a friend to recreate the problem for me (as I didnt want to mess around with my microSD card) and got the same error as you (can't locate /moonshl folder), However it seems that he used the wrong dldi patch.

So My question is make sure you are using the right DLDI patch on moonshell?

If your card is WHITE then you need the SDHC version: http://dldi.drunkencoders.com/index.php?title=SuperCard_DS_(ONE)_SDHC <Most Likely>

If your card is black then you need the non SDHC version: http://dldi.drunkencoders.com/index.php?title=SuperCard_DS_(ONE)

The reason it will still work on your supercard loader is because that will patch over the DLDI patch when it runs correcting the DLDI.

Hope that helps

That's the thing. I DLDI patched the ysmenu file, and am using Version 1 of what's listed on that site for SDHC.

I'll do it again though; I'll re-DLDI patch the moonshell file and replace the dldl.bin file again, but I dunno. Maybe I should just reinstall moonshell entirely.

Ok, so I just tried it, and it's giving me exact same error still. I really don't know what I should do. Should I not use "DLDI right click"? Could that be the problem?

I'm going to entirely re-install everything on my SDcard, including moonshell, and start from scratch here.

saf1

Ok, I reformatted and reinstalled everything from scratch and I'm still getting the error.

Which files do I dldi patch again? I just dldi patched moonshell.nds (well it's ymenus now, but you get it). What am I doing wrong :' (

This is exactly what I did:
1.) Emptied my card from EVERYTHING.
2.) Formatted card
3.) Installed the newest SuperCard OS from their website
4.) Installed Moonshell 1.71
5.) Replaced the dldi.bin file in the scshell folder with version 1 from http://dldi.drunkencoders.com/index.php?title=SuperCard_DS_(ONE)_SDHC
6.) Renamed moonshell.nds to ysmenu.nds
7.) Renamed "MSFORSC.NDS" to "SCDSONE.nds"
8.) Copied MSFORSC.NDS from bliss's zip file to the root of the card.
9.) Used DLDI Right Click to patch ysmenu.nds (The patch style was DS Slot-1)
10.) Replaced the skins in my moonshl and scshell folders (just personal preference I guess :D)
11.) Tried holding Y on start up and it gives me the EXACT SAME ERROR >:|

Try what jmr suggested but I'm still guessing your patching moonshell with the non SDHC DLDI, infact installing the program indicates that the correct DLDI is not installed with the software (the scds.dldi that is is for the non-SDHC version) which is why you are patching but it doesn't work.

I would explain how to add the driver into the list but it gets rather complicated so I recommend using the tool jmr suggests.

hope that helps

THANKS!

Perfect, I can't believe I finally got it to work. Yeah, it was the DLDI patcher I was using. Apparently DLDI right click doesn't support the SDHC version, which is why it kept locking up.

Ok, so moonshell loads up perfectly with it, but I can't get TTmenu.nds to work still.

I did the exact same steps with it.
1.) Copied TTmenu.nds to the drive
2.) DLDI patched TTmenu.nds
3.) Restarted. While booting I held X, but it just loaded the SC menu normally

I tried manually going to the TTmenu.nds file, but when I tried to load it it gave me a "MENU?" screen, with like this red sad SD card.

splinter98

with TTMenu its not .nds but .dat, just get a fresh copy of TTMenu and copy all the required files no DLDI nor renaming required. (then press X to boot)

EDIT: Forgot that Bliss's tool comes with TTMenu.nds to load it - there's still no need to DLDI patch that - also make sure you have the ttmenu.dat and folder in the root of your card

hope that helps

Where do I get the .bat file? I'm going purely off of what came in the bliss's tool zip and I don't see a .bat file.

splinter98

You need to Download the actual TTMenu loader off their website, Bliss's NDS just allows the supercard to load it.

You download it from here:http://www.ndstt.com/english/download_en.htm

Copy those files/folders to the root of your card and you'll be able to boot into TTMenu by pressing X
