I have 2 different SD cards, PNY and a no name brand.  The no name brand gives me SD card not found a lot and I noticed a lot of people having this problem.  I talked to my local electronics nerding guru and he said the cheaper SD card's contacts aren't actual gold and don't make contact as well as the more expensive name brands.

Simply put, if you get SD not Found simply take your SD card out and blow on the contacts, blow inside the cartridge, and try again.  I've had this work 95% of the time on the first try, and every other time on the second.  Simply taking it out and putting it back never worked for me.

"gold" does nothing..in fact,it oxidises more than other materials.
same with goldplated headphone connectors..they do nothing either, absolute con.

that guy is a total noob
We are in the digital age now where interfrence from bad materials is filtered out

Copper is the best conductor of electricity followed by aluminum

they are not used inside processors becuase they make good contacts(processors have permanant connections) but beacsue good conductor produce less heat and conduct heat awAY better seeheatsink on ur gc nds or pc processor thyre aluminium)

so maybe the sd isnt instered properly the sc card contacts are bad  or is slightly too thin

The water acts as a temporray fillin contact/ dirt cleaner
man fears time but time fears the pyramid"

Hm, I see, well either way the blowing technique has been working for me so I guess thats all that matters :)
