http://www.gamersection.ca/product_info.php?cPath=30_35&products_id=222 is what you'd want.  If you already have the SCSD, this would be the cheapest way to get DS files running.

Thanks also would i need to update that card like my SCSD or no also will i still encounter internal battery has run dry if i play pokemon diamond or pearl.

Thanks

dantheman

The Superkey won't need any updating.  The DS Pokemon games will work fine, as they use the DS's internal real-time clock.  Your GBA Pokemon games will run exactly the same as they do now.

Thanks a lot for the help appreciate it one final question is there any gba cart that has real clock so i can play games with time based events?.

dantheman

Several old NOR-based carts like the Flash2Advance Ultra and EZ-Flash III contain RTC chips, but I think the only one that's still commercially available would be the M3 Perfect.

snub17

Oh ok well i want to buy another gab cart but i only need the pass key for my previous sc sd so can you tell me of a product i can buy for the gba with rtc on the site i posted that i will be able to use with my superkey as well..

Thanks for your patience and help

dantheman

Again, I think the M3 Perfect is what you should look into.  Keep in mind you don't need a Superkey just to play GBA games.

So would this be the product?

Also i saw this product and was wondering if it was any good and that if the slot 1 card would work with my SC SD

Thanks

No, that's an expansion pack for the slot-1 M3 Real and will be useless to you.  The store apparently does not stock the M3 Perfect.

And I've never heard of the product in your second link.  I'd stay away.

Thanks dan i just got my superkey and supercard sd combo today, i tried a ds rom on my old SD card and it works but i cant real time save or switch to the supercard menu with the commands any help there? Ive attached a pic if you can take a look at it and explaing to me what the choices mean thatde be great since i tried to look for a tutorial and all most said was just use the program like you would for gba and it should work byt my commands in game dont work :(.

dantheman

DS games don't support real-time saving on slot-2 Supercards.  That feature is specific to the Supercard DS.  You should be able to restart with L+R+ABXY all held at the same time.

snub17

Thanks the restart works but now i have another issue :(, the supercard software wont le tme attach my guide book because its not ins cc format i use makebook and these have usually worked fine for my gba games, also is the command same to use the books as was in gba

Thanks

dantheman

Isn't Makebook the program that turns *.txt files into *.gba executable files?  That's not what you want to use here.

From the Supercard website, you should be able to download some extra tools.  One of them is called "cht2supercardcheat" and has a second function that lets you turn a *.txt file into a *.scb (SuperCard Book) file.  You can then select that file when patching your game.  Again, this only works with DS games.
