So I have the trouble of not being able to connect my wii to the internet. It was working just fine a week ago when I last used it to get online but tonight it just not getting there. I've checked all the settings and they r fine, I'm able to connect to the internet with my DS so I know my wireless is working. If I reformat my wii to day one will that allow my problem to go away? would I loose all my channels even if I save them to my SD card? Anyone have any thoughts?
I'm using wep 128key but have also tried to disable my wireless security and still won't connect.

I had this problem not too long ago, and Nintendo had me try to remove and re-insert the battery (located on the bottom if I remember correctly...you need to remove a screw). Although in my case it did not help. They had to replace my Wii. Apparently this connection issue is somewhat common if you perform some google searches. Not sure exactly what happens...something inside just "goes". Hope this is not your problem however.
