Saw a video of this and thought it was great. Having a hard time finding a link, there seems to have been a big ruckus over it. Anyone know where I can d/l?

I'm curious what you mean by that jmr.  Its sound quality is slightly less than that of Moonshell, but I use LMP-ng all the time mostly since it can shuffle music on my entire card rather than folder-by-folder.

ill admit i havnt used the the LMP-ng version but i tryed the original Licks Media Player & i found it awful it used to lock up on me all the time & the sound was bad for me as well

The original release was practically useless, and while the updates did make it better, I still would not have used it extensively.  LMP-ng is a huge improvement over it, and I'd suggest giving it a try.

Just make sure if you get the latest alpha version that you download some skins and put them in "X:\lmp-ng\skins" without extracting the .zip files.  You must have at least "default.zip" there if I remember correctly.

If you get the latest stable version, you won't get skin support so just place the *.nds file on your card and go.

For some reason that homebrew never worked for me. Maybe I should try again. I can't remember which flashcard I tryed it on.

Unfortunately it's hard to diagnose the problem when the only thing we have to work off of us "it doesn't work"

If you try it again and can provide a more specific description of what exactly is not working, we can probably try to get it working for you.

its not very good. just use moonshell

I like it as it can play all song on SD rather than one folder.

And it shuffle song better than moonshell.

but scan metadata take ages for 8GB SDHC :P
a lot faster on 2GB

I personally prefer LMP-ng over Moonshell simply for the ability to shuffle music on the entire card.  I also really like that I can go to the previous track I just played when in a random shuffle mode.  With Moonshell, I'd have to go down to the song and press A, which would re-shuffle the whole list so there's a chance I'll hear something I already listened to.

Moonshell does have slightly better audio quality though.
