I'm pretty sure this is region locked. It's what I read anyway.

Anyone confirm?

Its any new software that comes out for the DSi only will be region locked, any other ds/ds lite games will still be region free on the DSi

So far, all homebrew devices are known to be not working on the DSi.

Seems that the Acekard team has managed to get their card working IN THE LAB but they don't have much hopes of getting a commercial card out of the method. There's a video over at tehskeen.com

:-) I had a bet they'd be first, Acekard was one of the few which got around the last square protection as was - without another update, does anyone know if it runs chrono trigger ?

Supercard team have been consistently great, I'll never forget the day that they made the Old Slot 2 card work for DS - yes you had to use a pass-me or flash-me but the SC-CF had no load speed problems :-)

Let's hope all the promise of the SC-DS One being far better than the others as it's reprogrammable at firmware level pays off,

It appears that Ninjapass works due to its in-built memory PROVIDED that there is only one game on it. A Youtube video is available.

CycloDs as well.....

Anyone know what AK did to make theirs compatible?  Hardware change, or something else?

shadowdorothy

one thing i love about the dsi is that you can download games to the sd card via internet.
I like playing video games, whats wrong with it?
I'm gonna turn an old broken gameboy into an mp3 and mp4/avi/flv player.
I made my own avatar!

Any interesting news on this? Like on the camera?

I'm sure it's a hardware change. They're release a brand new flashcart named Acekard2i instead of by simply updating the firmware..
Spec :
Supercard DS One SDHC SP5 (2 GB memory)
Supercard Lite latest fw (1 GB memory)
