DSPet helped me initially when I was looking for info on compression to add into ETools, and gave me that link back then, (I checked it then as well...) and the beta one was posted before the bricker ever was released/realized.

The problem is etool has to save to the supercard's S-ram (which is 64KB) before it can be saved to the CF/SD card... I guess Cory never figured out a way to get it to save directly to the CF/SD card which is why there is a 64kb compressed limit.

In other words, currently there is nothing you can do to backup that save.

I think Rain hacked with SC+SD/CF support can back it up - least the last version I tried claimed to have. Cory posted a new version in another thread...
