does anyone tried the Bleach Dark Soul game?

everytime I'd try it, the game does save my file.
but when I tried to load it, the save file's corrupt and cannot be used. the game then forced me to create a new file which is losing my previous and I must play it all over from the begining again

I'd try updating the ndsinfo.dat from jmr and still no luck
I'd even try to manually change the save size randomly from 4kb, 512kb (default on jmr's ndsinfo.dat), 2Mb, 8kb and still no luck..

anyone knows why? or even knows how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance

have you tried it in clean mode with patch settings knocked off?

wow it works! thanks jmr. it's been a long time since the last time I used disable patch trick and that's why I forgot it :p


but I'm still curious. why does it happen?

no you wont be able to use cheats & your save wont save until you next boot up your nds so be careful.......
theres a thread on the chinese forum about the problem so im sure the supercard team are working on it & will release an updated ndspatch.dat or new loader soon

running the game in clean mode only works for the first save for me.  played some more and the next time i booted the game again i get corruption error even in clean mode.

going to try the updated ndspatch.dat when i get home tonight.  =)

i did update my ndspatch.dat, but i am still getting the corruption error.  do you still have to run it in standard/clean mode?

EDIT:
it works if i uncheck "patch saver" and run it in standard mode.  but doesn't work if i have "patch saver" turned on.

so i played some more in standard mode, and the next time I booted the game, I lost my save!!  I did not get an corrupted save data error, but it just loaded as if I do not have a save at all.  then finally i started to get data corruption error again.

which OS u use? or did you place it on the right place (inside the scshell folder)?

It works perfectly on me, even the cheat codes are perfect.

I'd enabling patch and update my ndspatch.dat and the save file not corrupt. I don't even have to play it from beginning as I can resume my previous save file (which is corrupt before the updated ndspatch.dat)

I am using the latest OS from 0718, and yes I placed the updated ndspatch.dat correctly into the scshell folder.

well mixinluv2u didnt bother to come back & tell us he got it working
he was using an undubbed version of the rom & that is why it wasnt working for him......

i just tried playing the clean rom and it seems to work so far.

undubbed however still does not work.  i am 90% certain that undubbing is the reason why the fix didn't work.

i had to go all the way over to the chinese forum and submit this issue for them to start looking into it....  =\

plus, i wish they would fix it so that undubbed version of the game also works.  R4/M3 Simply and CycloDS/Edge all can work the undubbed game.
