So DealExtreme has DS Lite + Rumble for about $11. I just upgraded my son from a DS-Phat to a DS-Lite, what do I need to make this work? A microSD of course (already got that) and... a SuperKey? That's it, right? Pretty cheap, that's a total of about $15 + the SD... not that I'm complaining!

although this is a supercard forum I would say for yer son's use to buy an ACEKARD 2.1 probably miles cheaper than a supercard too and a good sized SDHC micro sd :)

a majority of users here own multiple cards and will agree for a cheap card ACEKARD 2.1 is pretty good at DX prices :)

other than that a SLOT 1 card is the way to go regardless of what make it is  ...just avoid the fake TTDS/DSTT cards on there and anything with the word ADVANCE or I/II/III/PRO in its name!

if you want more advice just ask :)

SUPERCARD slot 1 cards are good just have a lot more settings that a kid may find more of an annoyance than useful :)

Well that's the thing. I have an M3 Real Perfect already. So I'm tempted to just get him another M3 and loan him my GBA or Rumble adapter when he really wants to play a GBA game.

But his old DS Phat had a Supercard CF in it, there was never anything he wanted to play that didn't work - and fast - I just wanted the DS Lite to actually be ... compact. So I'm leaning towards Supercard Lite Micro (not rumble) because that gives him 95%+ GBA, and 99% NDS compatibility, it just means I have to convert the games first. *shrug*

no good lending him your RUMBLE to play GBA on its just a RUMBLE!

I would go for another M3 REAL bundle or an M3 REAL and an Ezflash 3 in 1 :)

no conversion needed :)

M3 REAL are quite good I have one with the M3 REAL/SAKURA/ITOUCH triple loader on best of 3 WORLDS in the case of loaders :)

and M3 Real recently got REAL TIME SAVE in the last couple of updates  :)
