yes theres a cheat for it and a hacked version of the game but trust me its better to just buy a cheap a$$ imitation grip from deal extreme for about $7(about £6)

look here theres several ... and for a couple more $/£'s you can get one that looks almost like the real thing



and to be honest its worth getting one.... instead of trying your best with the hacks to play 2 notes at the same time the direction pad just won't press in two opposite directions at the same time!

You can also use ABXY with the hacked version (or just by using a set of cheat codes) but I agree, it's not worth it at all.
