I consider buying a Slot 2 Device, but which one is best? Wether teh Supercard SD or the Ez flash 3in1. What are the different features of both?

If you do buy a Supercard SD do know that the Gameboy Advance version of it is not that great. It is actually pretty poor.

EZ Flash IV (whichever version that supports GBA well enough) and the M3's (that support GBA) run far better. I at least know that the M3 is superior to the Supercard in the area of GBA.

As for the EZ 3-in-1, it does its job for the money you pay. I think you can only have like one game loaded to it at a time or something like that. You also need a Slot 1 to burn the game onto it. (Or something of that sort).

In sum, do not buy a Slot 2 Supercard if your main intent is to play GBA. Its NDS is pretty good.

Fact is, I actually HAVE a upercard DS one, so I only want a Slot 2 device to play BA Games, because the Slot 1 does not support that!

Edit: So, You said that, if I only want to play GBA Games, I should not buy a Slot 2 Device. But, what the hell should I do then? It's the onl possibility to play them!

the 3 in 1 is a great card but you are limited to just a couple of games on it at a time but you can transfer them to and from using GBA ExpLoader from your slot 1 card :)

Reygok

So you say its the best thing to buy an EZ Flash 3in1? But I have a DS! That one is only for DS Lite! Thats my Problem

Oh! Thanks, I searched yesterday for 2 hours, but I did not find that one!
Okay, then I think I'll buy that one, and all this only because one cannot play GBA Games on the SC DS One!

Thank you again ^^

Looks like it's been back-ordered for a while and only now got back in stock, so I'd order one soon since it's a rather difficult product to find nowadays.

Reygok

Thanks danhteman, but I only dont have the possibility to order now, because its not me who does this, its a freind, and he's in holidays.

But i'm wondering if the ezflash 3in1 is really the best solution for playing GBA Games, when I already have a DS One. I was so angry when I found that there are no emulators for flashcards...

It depends on what you're going to use it for.  By all means the EZ-IV is a more fully-featured cart for GBA gaming, especially since it uses its own miniSD card, but if all you're looking for is a simple expansion that lets you play GBA games you store on your slot-1 microSD card, then the 3in1 will work fine.  I don't know if the EZ-IV requires that you patch GBA games though; GBA ExpLoader will automatically patch games that you load to the 3in1 so you can use clean GBA roms.

Reygok

So, now I've got a Supercard DS1, and the 3 in 1 Ez flash. But when I start a GBA Rom from the SC, there comes Game Boy, without the Nintendo sing, and nothing happens. Whats wrong?

the ez-flash 3in1 wont work natively with the scdsone you will need to use a gba loader like gbaexploader http://kotei.blog.so-net.ne.jp/2008-12-21

or if you use YSmenu it works natively with the ez-flash 3in1
