Hey, my daughters DSphat battery is holding about a 2 hour charge and i am looking at the Deal Extreme batteries for a replacement. Anyone try any of these out? If so what do you think of them?

They are all very cheap in price (6.50 or under)

Well, having a bit of experience in buying some crappy DS Lite batteries, I can say that some of them really suck even with good reviews.  The problem is, DX keeps changing their stock and from batch to batch, the quality changes quite drastically.  My DS Lite battery that I bought was AMAZING for the first one, in fact I'm still using the first one I bought, but the next one I ordered was kind of like a dying DS Lite battery.  Even worst is the latest one where it held a charge for a little under 30 minutes.

What is even worse is when DX ships out another battery that is recommended against, then claims that the manufacturer changed packaging.  Which is downright bull since ordering it again you'll get the old packaging again.

The good news is, DX is really lenient in refunds and exchanges, just tell them that you aren't happy with it, and they don't even hesitate in shipping you a new one.

the one your leaning towards is the same one I got from amazon a while back as DX didnt have them in stock at the time for PHATS

so far seems a good battery but I think my sons charge socket is busted/loose anyhow the light goes funny when I plug it in to charge ... did this with the original battery too

I went ahead and ordered the one i was leaning towards. One positive review is all i needed (and yes i would jump off a bridge if all my friends were doing it as well)

should be fine mate can confirm the sockets messed up when you move the connector it stops charging when you move it back it starts again doh!

will prolly get round to getting him a LITE sometime soon or when finances prevail!
