I want to get the nintendo dsi but someone told me that the card wouldn't work for it.

so far ...Acekard 2i works fine on them .... although there's no guarantee that it will stay working forever if Nintendo figure a way to block it with an update!

I don't think SMF supports advanced poll options; multiple selections is the default.

If you get a DSi NOW it will work with the various DSi compatible cards. Will it work in the future on later firmware updates? Time will tell. But I can tell you from being involved in various scenes for a few decades that some time of workaround will happen if/when that happens  ;D

I would assume so ... Acekard recently released an update for the AK2i to fix the language problems that plagued the EUR cards which involved reflashing the AK2i hardware thread on gbatemp

so there's nothing to stop them making an update available in future ... assuming you have a second DS to make the update on or at least be able to borrow one to perform the update lol :P :)
