With my recent purchase of "Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time" for both Wii and DS, I was surprised to see that the Wii version is essentially identical to the DS version.

I understand that it could be simply the "pollux engine" renders everything so that it looks the same, but I was wondering if perhaps there was some form of emulation taking place.

If so, maybe it could be reverse engineered and used to make a wii DS emulator? 

Remember the zelda collector's disc for GC that had the 2 N64 Zeldas on it, and later some devs figured out how to apply the emulation used on the disc semi-successfully to other N64 titles?

Well, anyway, that's what I had in mind.  Sorry if this has already been discussed, or I'm wayyyyyyy off base.  I haven't been around lately!

But seriously, i would love to play some DS titles on my TV with a wiimote.
