Wii Memory

How much can the Wii really hold? I don't have many channels installed (13) and I ran out of memory on my Wii. I deleted some game saves and stuff and it doesn't bother me about space but is the Wii's memory really that little? I kept getting the error about space after I installed some wads (homebrew ones). It doesn't dp that anymore but whats the limit you guys had with memory.
I only had 2 WiiWare games (Tetris Party, and Family Table Tennis) and 1 VC N64 game (LoZ OoT). Besides that I had the Nintendo Channel, Everybody Votes Channel, etc.

Go to custom 4.0 firmware and then u can store every thing on an SD card and launch it from the SD card. N64 wads take up alot of space and so do Wiiware titles. I use custom firmware 4.0 and a 8gig SD card and don't worry about space any more.

Alright thanks man. I am updating it now. Now I can get some more WiiWare and VC stuff.

Make sure your using the Custom Firmware from Waninako and not the official 4.0 firmware.

Yeah... I already updated to the official 4.0 FW and got screwed but its ok. I found a tutorial on how to fix it all.

so if i use waninakos custom firmware, just to take advantage of being able to store the channels on the SD card, how will this affect my softmodding with bannerbomb?
will it delete it and downgraded? or does the bannerbomb already come with the custome 4.0 firmware?

no it wont delete it just make sure you use the UPGRADER by Waninako and not direct through Nintendo!
