WOW! A superhero game that actually doesn't suck! This is a great looking, great playing game. Very bloody, head flying off fun! I really can't get over the fact this game doesn't suck, lol, worth checking out.

my son just finished this on PS2 in less than 6 hrs although that was on the easiest setting lol! :)

Said it was an ok game but could be better!

DeVS

Seeing Wolverine put someone's head in the blades of a helicopter leaves little room for improvement, lol.

Downloaded this game, but my Xbox died last week, something happened in the DVD drive and the logic chip was blown. Waiting for a replacement now, from the trailers this game seemed fun.

I've had 3 xboxes since March.  what a hunk of junk piece of hardware.

STROKES PS3 lovingly :P muhahahah ......

Although lol on a serious note PS3 is not FLAWLESS either as it can suffer the YELLOW LIGHT OF DEATH .... which is pretty much the same thing as the 360 RROD situation....the PS3  YLOD has the same similar processor/heat sink failure problem ..but on a lesser failure rate than the 360's!

Along with the BLUE RAY laser death issue that has affected some PS3 owners :(

never had this issue with the MEGADRIVE and SNES way back then though! lol and they are still going strong today!!!  funny how times change with the build quality and durability of components they just don't seem to give a damn that we paid out a large chunk of cash for the latest console only for it to die or in some cases die multiple times! :(

To add here ... we had our 360 serviced recently it refused to read disks fortunately when I rang microsuck about a month or so ago I found ours to have 3 months on the warrenty left so it was packed off to EUR service centre in Germany and had a weeks holiday there and back via UPS and its all better now :)

*fingers crossed*

Well, I haven't had a single NEW 360.  My brother and I have been scanning craigslist for cheap broken ones and have been fixing them.  My PS3 runs like a dream though... My brother in law did get the BD drive failure though...

DeVS

Well to play Devils advocate, I bought an XboX 360 on launch date and have had not a single problem at all with it.

sorry DEVS gone off on a tangent here and hijacked your thread with console discussion maby split it off to a separate post!?

LUCK of the draw I guess ... somewhere along the lines there must of been a few bad batches :(

latest thing with Sony is the refusal to replace backward compatible models if they break down one guy (dn2500f) sent his 80gb with backward compatibility in for repair/exchange for a replacement and they refused to swap it for the same model as it was un repairable apparently?

They offered a new 80gb but without backwards compatibility ....

He would loose the 2 usb ports a built in card reader and backward compatibility .. the kicker is that hes paid extra warranty coverage on this PS3 too!!

The argument has gone on for ages with no resolve other than other repair centers have the original model to send out to him yet the center he took it/sent it to cannot!?

socket

Ouch, that sucks.  I use my backwards compatibility a lot, honestly.  I HATE that they took it out.  It always was like Sony's "thing"... oh well.

I don't have it myself in my 40gb :(  .....then again my ps3 was practically free anyhow :P so cannot really grumble!

I still have my PS2 anyhow so that's not a real biggie for me! (I have my ps3 is stacked flat on top of the PS2 lol :) )

I've installed the new drive, now it works like a charm, tried this game and it's way better than I expected. Wish every movie based game were this good. Also, this is my first Xbox, bought 10 months ago, and it's the first time it broke, since it's modded I don't have a warranty, but I don't think it's going to break anymore, especially because I put some cooling mods in it, readjusted the X-clamps, changed the thermal paste (going to put Arctic Silver 5 next week), installed Talismoon Whisper Fan Max, running at 12v, and an extra cooling fan over the secondary GPU heatsink, it's very loud, but at least it won't overheat.

I did too  :ticked: Pisses me off to see PS3 fanboys running around laughing about RRoD when the PS3 has hardware failures too. At least Microsoft will fix it for free. Sony wants $150 and I'll be damned if they get it.  :tard:
