I apologize if this isn't the right section for this.

I've been playing Pokemon Platinum on my R4DS and I decided I liked it enough to buy the game. Before I did so, I checked if there was a way I could transfer my .sav from my R4 to the actual game. It led me to sav sender.

I've been playing around with this program for hours, trying to get the right setting but it just won't work and there doesn't seem to be a good enough guide for trouble shooting the problem.

I've already patched the savsender.nds file, used a hex editor to get the .sav file down to 216144 bits and port forwarded my router properly.

When I turn on the game, the .sav is ALWAYS corrupt.

Is there any other way I can restore the save back onto the actual cartridge or am I on my own here?

SavSender was made before the Pokemon games came out, so I don't think it can handle the 512 KB save files that they use.  Try using Rudolph's NDS Backup Tool wifi version instead.  It will require you to setup an FTP server on your computer, but it's got a better chance of working.
