Hi,

I'm curious to know if anyone has flashed their ds lately? any success on the newer ds? ..say, models that have come out since January?

I bought a ds in dec that i can't seem to flash.. wondering if any of these new colors that have come out have the same issue..

serious..?!? am i sensing sarcasm in the caps..?!? ..from an admin?!? lol.. I guess i can try scrolling a few posts down & seeing my last.. the board is dead enough.. excuse me for fishing in this pond for anyone with a similar experience as mine.. dude, no need to be bitter about the board being dead.. it's had it's fun days..


if you plan on replying to peoples posts, try being more helpfull with your replys.. u may get members to stick around longer. I currently own 7 supercard devices that i love & use daily. I got a lot of help from u guys through out the years.. as many other SC owners, I havent needed to upgrade anything else so my visits to the forum became fewer. Now that I can see what it's like to come back & fish for a few more answers, I may come even less..

I've seen only a few isolated incidents of the "DS simply will not flash" issue.  I imagine it's more of a hit-or-miss thing, rather than a specific "later than this date" thing.  The earliest instance I can think of would be from a user named Lick on the GBAdev forums, who unfortunately was unable to ever solve the problem.  Since then I've seen 2, maybe 3 similar incidents on the several GBA/DS boards I frequent, none of which came up with an answer.

I appreciate the reply.. & no need to apologize for not having any more info.. You helped enough by posting something useful. You don't always need to have all the answers to still be useful..

In my case, I have pretty much come to terms with the fact that I may not be able to flash this particular ds. I wasnt expecting much with this post.. jsut some opinions from anyone who may have heard anything related. You were helpfull by simply just acknowledging  my request for info & providing me with examples of similar scenarios (where they haven't had any luck either). Sarcasm from an admin is just something I was not expecting.. (users, all the time.. but not an admin..)

I do think the newer colored ones had some issues.  But I couldn't find any info in my quick search.
