Most impressive E3 09 motion control technology?

Wii MotionPlus is the only motion control technology available in stores 2009 with a library of supporting games. Unfortunately Wii MotionPlus does not seem to deliver 1:1 accuracy like many had envisioned it might when it was announced last year.

Microsoft's mantra of "no controller" motion control technology is very interesting, but how much is it going to cost? Also the live E3 demonstration of Natal does not yet seem to work as well as in the Project Natal Intro video suggests.

Sony surprised many at E3 by demonstrating accurate 1:1 motion control technology with some proof-of-concept demos. However Sony's motion control technology doesn't even have an official name yet so who knows when it will actually be available?

I think Sony when they pull their finger out it will be pretty good ... although you will need a PS EYE camera (which i recently got for a bargain price of £20 with eye of judgement game ) if something is visually tracking as well as wifi/bluetooth whatever then its bound to be more accurate!

Microsofts efforts have yet to be proven their demo was laughable!

Wii's motion plus is just their attempt at trying to add more to the Wiimote but charge us more in the process at least again with Microsoft and Sony they are trying something different not trying to add to something they have but lacked on!

I voted Sony. I wont believe M$ until I see, seems pretty far fetched and they didn't give an estimate when this thing would see the day of light. I doubt it comes out in 2010. I think it was on G4 where they were shooting down M$ motion thing. Like when the guy came out to demo it and he had on those huge "Bono" glasses and it recognized his face anyway, they clowned the guy about when they interviewed him and his response was (laughing and looking embarrassed that he got busted) "Hey anything is possible right". That shows me that their whole "demo" was nothing more then a video representation of what they WANT to make. Sony at least said theirs would be out in Spring 2010, and showed a great demo of it in use.

Yeah I agree, but Sony made similar promises when Home was announced and that was two years late. ::)  We will see how it plays out.

EDIT:
Bump. Aww come on people. This is cool stuff. Nobody else wants to vote on this poll? No Xbox 360 or Wii fans want to represent?

I kind of agree on the MS front.  Natal seems to me to be impossible.  No controller at all?  Yeah, ok... I will believe it when i see it, too.

Sony's and Nintendo's are both cool, but I was most impressed with Sony's.

Word is that Sony already has had the dev kits out to publishers for their motion controller for awhile, while on the other hand they are saying M$ ball breaker demo was being controlled by a remote controller from side stage, lol. Poor M$. I love my XboX 360 and they have done some impressive stuff with their OS and Live, but this Natal thing makes them look like they are just saying stuff so as not to appear to be falling that far behind the motion controls. Maybe they can do it, but I just don't know how. How will they make the system ONLY recognize the movement from the person who is SUPPOSED to be playing and not other people standing next to them. Nevertheless the complexity of having a two person game going. How will it tell my movements from my friends movements and map those to my character and his to his character, ect? Maybe one day but not anytime soon in my opinion.

Hate to say it but none really impress me all of that much.  Sure they LOOK GREAT.  But how much do I think I will use any of it.....probably nil to none after the first month.  Just like Mario Kart, I use the nunchuck thumbpad because it is more accurate and GTA4 on PS3 turned the six-axis off after a week.  Heck, my Wii balance board has and inch of dust on it.

Great in theory but more a novelty to show off at party's and casual gaming.
lack DS Lite, Black SCLite, SuperKey, 2X 1GB Made-in-Japan Kingston MicroSD

I'm with thepine though I still use my wii a bit. Motion control is like old and stuff... where is the mind control?

+1. I only used wiifit the first week and never used it again. Sold it back to gamestop and got a decent trade in credit.
