It's been a couple of years since I have really even messed with homebrew on my DS so someone help me out. Whats the best SNES emu for the DS (if there is a "best" one). Whats the compatibility like, frame rate, sound, ect. Thanks for the help!

SNEmulDS v06a afaik is still the best or SNEmulDS06-WIP2 on the SNEmulDS website here

QuoteWork In Progress release for Slot 2 device and some words for a friends’ project

Hello everyone, a tiny and “unofficial” update for slot 2 device users. The 0.6 alpha didn’t work well, so i tried to fix most issues in this release.

Other people can check this release too, it reduces the battery consumption and includes a button to hide the GUI.

I haven't really emulated much on DS for a long time as my PSP does it far better :)

SNEmulDS is indeed the best right now.  Compatibility isn't the greatest, and many games will need minor tweaking to fix graphical errors, but speed is generally pretty good.  Sound is synchronized for the most part, no complaints there.

An alternative is SnezziDS, if you happen to have a slot-2 device with GBA compatibility (like a non-Rumble Supercard or a 3in1).  You'd mostly want to try this if a game you want to play is unplayable in SNEmulDS, as it doesn't have nearly as many options and features as SNEmulDS.

Unfortunately SNEmulDS is pretty much dead, the creator hasn't done any updates in over a year.
