Anyone knows the deal with this add-on?  Does it need an update?  Wonder if anyone has tried it... I read at gbatemp that it may not need an update although they were running 4.0 firmware.  Any ideas?

I have 2 of them. I am running Wanninako's custom 4.0 and they work fine without asking for an update. I have played EA Grand Slam Tennis (sucks HUGE ones and is no better then Wii Sports Tennis) and Tiger Woods 2010 which is just amazing. I have been playing Tiger Woods all damn day. The Wiimotion plus really makes a difference in this game over previous Tiger games on the Wii. Haven't tried Virtua Tennis 2009 yet, waiting for it to "pop up".

That's real awesome.  My Wii is at 3.2U and I've been waiting around to see if there is a definitive answer as to what IOS it requires.  It is nice to know that Waninkoko's 4.0 does not need a firmware update.
