I think ms super card sd mini has a dead battery. are there guides on how to change the battery of GB and GBA games.

I know there is soldering involved but I know how to solder so that won't be a problem, I just need to know what to and what battery I need for my flashcart.

I also need to know if the same applies to other GBA flash carts.
I like playing video games, whats wrong with it?
I'm gonna turn an old broken gameboy into an mp3 and mp4/avi/flv player.

The CF, SD, and Lite don't have batteries.  The miniSD is the only one to have a battery, and it's really not all that useful.  Though its purpose is to save your games' SRAM without having to use the L+R+A+Select button combination, I'd recommend using it anyway just to be safe.

Why do you think the battery doesn't work?  If it's for the Pokemon games, you need to patch them with GBATA in order to allow time-based events to occur, because the Supercard does not have an RTC in it.

no it's not pokemon games. I think it deleted all my save data from my games on there. I had halfway complete three of the games and know their data seems to be gone. I tried various methods to see if the data was there. but found nothing. maybe I'm not doing it right.
