I'm wondering if it is possible to play common file extensions like .avi .flv .mp4 or .wav files on an R4. I can't get any off the .dpg converters to work so thats why I'm curious.

also is there anyway to use an R4 without moonshell? moonshell annoys me because of what it can't do. I've heard of sakura, but I heard it doesn't work very well.
I like playing video games, whats wrong with it?
I'm gonna turn an old broken gameboy into an mp3 and mp4/avi/flv player.
I made my own avatar!

You can view images and mp3 files, but for videos you're limited to a few specific formats, DPG being the most popular one.  You can use .avi files with Tuna-viDS, but you have to convert to a specific codec, resolution, framerate, and bitrate so it's not any easier than DPG.

Did you try using Super to convert videos to DPG? I've used it and it's the best video converter I've used. Here is the link:

And best of all, it's completely free.
