That was a huge annoyance for me when I needed to manage my saves on my PC in that it renamed the files and many times I couldn't tell which game it was from.

You can try simply using the longer file name.  I've had mixed success with this, as some games work while others don't.

i just rename the file to make it longer, never was a problem for me!
