Allows you to transfer files from CF cards to this portable device which comes in sizes of 20, 40, and 60GB....with all of the other formats it supports i could use this for my MP3 player, Digital Camera and SuperCard...it also has a USB connection and can be used as an external Hard Drive....

I haven't read though everything but it states its used to transfer from a CF card to the 20GB Portable HD...the only issue is does it also transfer from the Portable HD to the CF Card...if it did its a much cheaper solution than buying 2gb cards considering the extra space you get...for less than the price of a 2GB CF card (where i am anyways) I can get one of those and end up with 20GB instead...

Obviously the size is small since its portable....i'm assuming it would fit in a pocket although i'm too lazy to look at the specs right now...plus i have to leave....anyways this sounds like an interesting tool and could be cool!

Thats cool and all but really why would you need 20 gigs. I have every  GBA rom (in english) and its only 3.65 gigs worth and for my taste i could cut the number of actual "good games" by 1/4. That makes a 1 gig card more then enough . Not too mention the roms that still arent compatable (which means all of those roms on the portable HD would have to also be backed up "unpatched" for future updates. It would be nice to have more room for  MP3's and small video files (read porn). However for 189 bucks you're better off just buying a decent MP3 player, or even spending a bit more on one of those RCA Lyra Jukeboxes with a 20 gig HD and a 5" inch screen.

Wow...you are hard up (pun intended) when you're watching porn on your GBA.

But back to the topic at hand:  I really don't see the point in it either, honestly.  With even a 128 MB CF card you can fit most if not all of the games you'll be playing on the card at any time (including business trips when you may be away from your system), so there's really no need for the extra peripheral to lug around.  I mean, it's nice to have every game you have on the CF card at once, including the ROMs for the emulated systems (which I can easily do with my 1 GB Ultra II CF card I paid $65 for), but who plays even half the games that they have?

Besides, I have around 400 GB of my 640 GB HD space available (4x160 GB SATA HDs in RAID 0), so there's really no need for me to buy another 20 GB of space, no matter how handy. :D

Of course, I find a lot of stuff to be unnecessary or excessive (how many friggin' MP3s do you have that you need a 40 GB iPod?), so I'm a horrible barometer.  8)
